not regarding the photo: i am fascinated by the fact that the rabbit's ears are still erect after its entire head has been obliterated.
regarding the photo: i'm glad you picked an angle that shows the light hitting the ears, thereby making the veins visible. as much as i appreciate roadkill--to me--it's the small details like that (the veins that look like they still have blood coursing through them) that create the beauty in death.
post script: despite the fact that it would most likely offend people, i wish i could see a bigger version of this so i could get a closer view of that detail.
